About Nadia Read Thaele

Nadia Read Thaele is a businesswoman and artist. Ever since she was little, she loved both the creative and business world and it took her most of her life to find the inspiration and courage to combine the two and be both a businesswoman and artist.

Born to the well-known South African/German artist Christel Read, and with her father as a chartered account, Nadia found inspiration between two polar opposites - the logical and fixed; and the flow of the unlimited.

As a career woman she runs a boutique consultancy, LIO Global, which specializes in residency and citizenship by investment programs. She also established the Ladies Power Club, a small group aimed at inspiring, challenging and motivating South African entre-and intra-preneurs.

My artworks are a reflection of my spirit and life’s experiences of a complex and beautiful Africa. Having grown up in a privileged home and spent much my childhood exploring the beauty of Southern Africa; the earth and heart of our country lies deep within my soul. My paintings reflect the strength, courage, vulnerability and beauty of our continent and its people, all of its people. If I manage to share even a little bit of that beautiful soul through my work, then I will be proud of that achievement.
